“Sashakt, The Entrepreneurship Committee of DMS IIT Delhi is set to bridge the gap between the startup idea and a startup in reality. Sashakt aims to link the maximum possible pillars in a startup ecosystem and contribute to developing the entrepreneurial ecosystem. We enable easy and efficient interaction among the significant components of entrepreneurship spanning students, working professionals, aspiring and existing entrepreneurs, mentors, angel investors, venture capital firms, and corporates through various initiatives. We foster a spirit of entrepreneurship in the community of students both within and beyond the campus to take up innovative, out-of-the-box ideas and bring them to fruition.
Since its inception, Sashakt has gained synergy through the constant support of our students’ members, esteemed faculty, and corporate experts. We sincerely hope to establish Sashakt to encourage entrepreneurship among the student community across India and other SAARC countries in the coming years.”
From Sashakt, Entrepreneurship Committee Faculty Chair

Prof. Juhi Raghuvanshi
“Entrepreneurship is a vital pillar of a country’s economic progress. Entrepreneurs promote innovation and provide value to every sector they touch, surpassing notions of being job holders to become job creators.
Sashakt is an entrepreneurial platform that caters to the requirements of aspiring entrepreneurs by connecting them to founders from established businesses via various channels and providing them with insights ranging from idea discovery and validation to various challenges encountered along the way. We also make an effort to encourage and reward budding entrepreneurs, thereby fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem inside the campus.
With this initiative, we also hope to create long-term relationships with several enterprises to provide live project opportunities to our students that will complement their in-class learnings while also delivering value to the startups.”
